The Proof of Funds requirements for students and their accompanying family members have been updated by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Starting January 1, 2024, individuals intending to study in Canada must meet certain financial criteria to ensure they can financially sustain themselves and their families.

  The updated Proof of Funds requirements are as follows:

• For a single student: $20,635.

• For two persons (student and their spouse): $25,690.

• For Family of three people: $31,583.

• For Family of four people, $38,346.

• For Family of 5: $43,492.
